Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Watson, who died at her home near Roachdale Tuesday afternoon were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Carpentersville Methodist Church. Burial was in the Roachdale cemetery. Mrs. Watson has been a permanent resident of the Roachdale community for the past 35 years. She was born in Parke County but had spent most of her life in Putnam County. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Fred Robbins of Brazil; Mrs. William Clarke of Bainbridge; Mrs. Roscoe Young of Roachdale; Mrs. Jacob Meek of Indianapolis and two sons, Leonard at home and Orel of Roachdale. Other survivors are four brothers, Aaron Moore of Indianapolis; Joseph Moore; James Moore and Albert Moore of Greencastle and two sisters, Mary Moore and Emma Moore of Greencastle. - kz
